Gran Cocina is a shared-use community kitchen that serves both food entrepreneurs and the community.
Gran Cocina is a joint project of Wellspring Cooperative and Neighbor-to-Neighbor. Kitchen equipment includes: 10-burner stove, ovens, mixer, steam-jacketed kettle, warming cabinet, 3-bay sink, prep tables, Refrigerators, walk-in cooler, storage space, and more.
We build community and reduce food insecurity through collective action, mutual aid, breaking bread together, and celebration.
Meet Betsaida, your Gran Cocina Manager and Guide
Betsaida is a ServSafe certified manager. She has over 20 years of experience serving as manager of kitchens and restaurants. Betsaida is a cook and baker and has expertise cooking Hispanic, American and Italian cuisine. She’s passionate about bringing the community together and helping the community thrive. Betsaida helps food truck and catering entrepreneurs excel in their food related businesses that benefit the community.
